Fog Lifter

Loneliness settles in like a cold mist and what lies down the road is anybody’s guess when we are driving blind. Wondering in a fog of mental guilt and shame can be just as hard to navigate.

Isaiah 44:21-22

 I, the Lord, made you,
and I will not forget you.
I have swept away your sins like a cloud.
I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist.
Oh, return to me,
for I have paid the price to set you free.”

Remembered.

Restored.

Redeemed.

The forgiveness of God comes rushing in to light the way. All of the sudden hope, peace and freedom come into view. They have always been there… masked by the shadows of an unrepentant heart.

But when the heart turns to God, the shadows lift and truth rules the road.

Isaiah 42:6

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.

Psalm 121:2

My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
