Living in the Habit of Hope

Session One: Grief and grace coexist. When dark days come, we sometimes lose our ability to recognize God’s grace over our lives. Practicing the habit of hope helps train our eyes toward things still right with God, ourselves, and the world.

Session Two: God created us with the ability to heal. Emotional wounds don’t have to take up a permanent residence in our hearts. Surviving and coping are meant to be only transitory seasons that help move us toward wholeness.

Session Three: God created us for connection. Like all living things, we need to receive things like love, grace and acceptance from outside ourselves. We are not self-sustaining, we need connection with God and each other to thrive emotionally and spiritually.
